Introduction

LOK Chronicle (LOKC) is a dungeon-crawler RPG set in the League of Kingdoms universe and part of the Arena-Z Web3 platform. Released in 2024 with Open Beta from March 17, 2025, it shifts focus from large-scale kingdom strategy to hero-based adventures: you lead a party through procedurally generated dungeons, fight on a 3×3 grid in auto-battler style, and progress through 21 hero classes (Warrior, Rogue, Mage and their advancements). The game is free-to-play on mobile (Android, iOS) and web, and shares the same NFTs and token as League of Kingdoms—Drago, Land, equipment, and the $A2Z (formerly LOKA) token are interoperable across both games. The game is live in Open Beta; progress will carry over to the official launch. Visit lokchronicle.com to play.

Gameplay and features

LOK Chronicle is a tactical, party-based auto-battler: you build a party of heroes and explore dungeons with procedurally generated layouts and multiple difficulty levels. Combat runs on a 3×3 grid; outcomes depend on hero placement, equipment, and positioning, with battles resolved automatically.

Core systems:

  • Classes: Start as Warrior, Rogue, or Mage and advance into 21 specialized hero classes as you progress.
  • Dungeons: Instant Dungeons with enhanced rewards, plus Abyssal Tower–style challenges with difficulty scaling (e.g. curses and gifts) and optional auto-progress to the next floor after clearing a stage.
  • Equipment: Craft and enchant gear using materials from dungeons and rare NFT ingredients; gear affects combat and builds.
  • Guilds: Create or join guilds for raids, siege content, and exclusive activities. A Mercenary Pool lets you earn rewards while AFK.
  • NFT interoperability: Use Drago (dragon companion NFTs), Land NFTs, and other LOK assets from League of Kingdoms in LOK Chronicle; the same A2Z token economy applies.

Economy and token

LOK Chronicle uses the Arena-Z token economy: $A2Z (the rebranded LOKA token, 1 LOKA = 20 A2Z) is the governance and utility token for the whole LOK / Arena-Z ecosystem. In LOKC you earn and spend A2Z through gameplay, seasonal rewards, platform quests, and NFT-related activities. DST and other in-game systems from League of Kingdoms can also tie into the broader economy. There is no separate LOKC-only token; value flows from interoperable NFTs (Drago, land, gear) and the shared A2Z token. Open Beta is live; rewards and distribution at official launch are announced via lokchronicle.com and the official Discord.

Market and NFTs

LOK Chronicle does not introduce its own separate NFT collections; it reuses the League of Kingdoms NFT ecosystem. Drago, Land, equipment, and other LOK NFTs are interoperable: you can use the same assets in both League of Kingdoms and LOK Chronicle. Trading and marketplace activity happen on the same chains as LOK: Ethereum (LAND, Genesis Drago, A2Z), Polygon (Skins, Drago, Goods, Package), and Arena-Z for newer ecosystem assets. To buy, sell, or use NFTs in LOKC, use the same wallets and marketplaces as for League of Kingdoms (e.g. OpenSea, LootRush, official LOK/Arena-Z pages). See the League of Kingdoms page for detailed NFT sections (LAND, Drago, Skins, resource minting) and links.

How to get started

LOK Chronicle is free-to-play on mobile and web. The game is live in Open Beta (OBT); pre-registration for the official launch has ended. You can start playing immediately.

Step 1 – Add AZ Chain and visit the game: Go to lokchronicle.com. Use the "Add AZ Chain" guide on the site to add the Arena-Z network to your EVM wallet (e.g. MetaMask). If you already play League of Kingdoms, you can use the same wallet and LOK assets in LOK Chronicle.

Step 2 – Download or play on web: Install the app from Google Play (LOK Chronicle on Google Play) or use the web client if available. An App Store (iOS) version is planned. You can also play on PC via Android emulators (e.g. LDPlayer).

Step 3 – Wallet and chain: Use an EVM wallet (e.g. MetaMask) with the Arena-Z (A2Z) chain for in-game assets and A2Z. The same wallet can hold LOK NFTs on Ethereum/Polygon and A2Z on Arena-Z. Check Players Arena Foundation and the official Discord for the latest RPC and chain details.
