Voxies Tactics (Game)

Introduction

Voxie Tactics is a free-to-play, retro-styled tactical RPG built around classic 1990s/early-2000s tactics, with modern gameplay twists. Players explore the world in Exploration mode and fight in Battling mode, where combat is turn-based on a 3D, tile-based map.

Each battle can include a party of 2 to 7 Voxies facing monsters, bandits, and other players in PvP modes. Voxie combat is tactical: during each turn you can choose actions like MOVE, ACTION (attacks/abilities/spells), and EQUIP (switch weapons/armor). Facing direction can affect hit success rates, and gameplay includes elements (e.g. Holy, Poison, Lightning, Ice, Fire) plus status effects like Sleep, Confusion, Frozen, and more.

The game is designed to be easy to get into, but hard to master and it also supports bringing your own Voxies NFTs into the gameplay for additional benefits and customization.

Exploration: story-driven exploration with multiple approaches to uncovering mysteries and hidden surprises.
Turn-based tactical combat: grid-based 3D battles where positioning, terrain, and facing direction matter.
PvP Arenas: including Draft Arena, Titan Arena, and Extreme Arena.
PvE training for new players: new-player focused PvE experiences (e.g. “Grumblers Attack!”).

Token and economy

Voxie Tactics uses VOXEL as its in-game utility token. VOXEL is an ERC-20 token on the Polygon ecosystem and it can be:

Earned through gameplay modes (including quests and PvP progression).
Redeemed for in-game items in the Voxie Tactics marketplace (weapons, armor, consumables, and more).
Used to pay entry fees for PvP arenas.
Used for crafting and marketplace transactions.

The VOXEL token has a fixed total supply (300,000,000 VOXEL) with distribution planned over multiple years, including allocations reserved for play-to-earn rewards, initial sales, and VOXies NFT community holders.

Planned NFTs and assets

The game supports owning Voxies NFTs from the Voxies NFT project. You can bring your Voxies into Voxie Tactics for extra benefits and customization, and the ecosystem includes a dedicated Voxies Marketplace for trading in-game items and related assets.
