Olderfall 0.15.034: Weapon Socketing and gems in Alchemy
Anubika shipped Olderfall Patch 0.15.034 (The Gem) on August 21, 2026. The headline for loadout players is Weapon Socketing inside Alchemy: generate sockets on weapons, then add Gems into open slots. The same patch reworks Flex Tournament and Deathmatch screens, adds a Guild Tournament view, and cleans several Chambers and notification bugs.
If you already hold Seasonal or Foundry weapons, or you banked Gems from Season 6 and earlier Alchemy merges, this is the mid-season systems drop that ties those items to socketed loadouts. Check the live Alchemy Socketing UI in-client for costs and limits; the studio did not publish a full gem economy sheet with the announce.
Background
Olderfall is a free-to-play tactical auto-battler from Anubika. You train Fallen gladiators, equip weapons and armor, and fight in browser or on Android. NFT gear and gladiators trade on the Olderfall Marketplace (Sequence), across Polygon, Moonbeam, Arbitrum Nova, and SKALE Nebula.
Season 6: A Matter of Instinct opened July 31, 2026 and runs through September 29, 2026. That Battle Pass named Blackfang Recurve, Gems, Void Relics, and other track rewards. Prior coverage: Olderfall Season 6: A Matter of Instinct Battle Pass.
Alchemy already covered Booster Burn, Transmutation, and Gem merges in earlier 0.14.x client notes. Olderfall’s Planned Expansions (WIP) Gitbook page (opens in new tab) still describes sockets and gems as a future Forge-era expansion. Treat that page as behind the live client after 0.15.034.
What happened
On August 21, 2026, Anubika posted Patch 0.15.034 – The Gem in the official Olderfall Discord (opens in new tab). The Android listing mirrored the same version the same day on APKPure’s Olderfall page (opens in new tab) (Last updated on Aug 21, 2026).
Weapon Socketing (Alchemy)
From the Discord post and store changelog:
- A Socketing section is live under Alchemy
- Players can generate sockets on weapons
- Players can add Gems to weapons that have available sockets
The announce does not list socket-generation costs, max sockets per rarity, gem remove or replace rules, or combat stat tables for socketed gems. Open Alchemy in play.olderfall.com (opens in new tab) (or the updated Android build) for live numbers.
Official weapons docs (opens in new tab) still define weapons as NFTs with type, core combat stats, rarity, and lore, earned from chests, tournaments, the Forge, or the shop. They do not yet describe socket or gem fields. Do not assume marketplace listings show socketed gems as on-chain traits until Anubika or Sequence listings prove it.
Tournament and Chambers QoL
Discord and the store changelog also ship:
- Improved Flex Tournament UI
- Improved Deathmatch UI (store text: clearer fight cost and payout presentation)
- A Guild Tournament screen under the Guild section (guild points, leaderboard, and rewards on the line)
- Multi-selection for Experience Items
- Fixes for repeated Energy notifications, wrong Guild banner in the Top Guild panel, and Building System unlocks in Chambers
These are orientation and bugfix changes. They do not replace Season 6 Battle Pass rules or tournament entry currencies.
Who it affects
Players
Open Alchemy after updating and check whether your equipped weapons already show socket slots or need a Generate Sockets step. If you stockpiled Gems from Season 6 tracks or earlier merges, test one low-stakes weapon before committing high-rarity pieces. Tournament regulars should re-check Flex, Deathmatch, and Guild Tournament screens so entry costs and rewards match what you expect before spending Energy or tickets.
Hold competitive loadout changes until you see live socket costs and gem outcomes in-client. The Discord post is a feature ship notice, not a balance manifesto.
Collectors
Weapon lines already on Web3Raider include Genesis Foundry weapons, Founders Arsenal weapons, and seasonal exclusives such as Season 6’s Blackfang Recurve path. Socketing raises the question of whether gemmed weapons keep that state when they trade.
Until the studio documents on-chain persistence, treat socket and gem state as in-client progression unless a listing or explorer field proves otherwise. When you buy a weapon on the Olderfall Marketplace, check the live listing and in-client equip preview. Do not price a premium from Discord wording alone.

On Web3Raider
- Hubs: Games, NFT, Blockchain
- Closest pages: Olderfall, Olderfall Marketplace, Genesis Foundry weapons
- Prior coverage: Season 6: A Matter of Instinct
What to watch next
- In-client Alchemy Socketing costs, socket caps, and whether gems can be removed or overwritten
- Whether Gitbook Planned Expansions (opens in new tab) and weapons (opens in new tab) pages catch up to live socket rules
- Marketplace listings that expose socket or gem state for traded weapons
- Season 6 remaining window through September 29, 2026 for Gem and exclusive weapon unlocks
- Follow @Olderfall (opens in new tab) and the official Discord (opens in new tab) for economy clarifications
Bottom line: Update to 0.15.034, open Alchemy Socketing on a disposable weapon first, and only then commit Season 6 Gems or high-rarity NFT weapons once you see live costs and outcomes. Treat marketplace premiums for “gemmed” gear as unproven until listings or docs show persistent socket state.
