Fableborne guild season starts August 24: guild leaders on solo leaderboard, POWER webshop on BNB Chain

Pixion Games clarified two Guild Season rules ahead of August 24, 2026, when Fableborne competitive guild play begins. In the official Fableborne Discord (opens in new tab), the studio said Guild Leaders can rank on the solo leaderboard, counting only Guild Glory they earn themselves, not their leader fee cut. In a separate August 20 X thread (opens in new tab), Pixion also said Season 5 webshop POWER purchases can run on Ronin or BNB Chain. Eligible webshop spend adds to the guild-season POWER prize pool, which guilds will compete for once ranked play begins on August 24.

Background

Fableborne is a free-to-play mobile ARPG from Pixion on Ronin. POWER and Kingdom / Primordial NFTs are optional Web3 paths for webshop spend, guild rewards, and NFT perks. RON is the gas token on Ronin when you move POWER or NFTs on that network.

Season 5 opened on August 17 after iOS App Store approval, as covered in Fableborne Season 5 is live: iOS approved, guild competition August 24. The first week is recruitment; ranked guild events and leaderboard payouts will begin August 24 and run through September 17 inside the broader season window.

Pixion's Road to Global post on X frames Season 5 as a public proving ground, not a global launch. The studio said its target is the broader mobile market, not Web3-only recognition, and that Web3 should strengthen the experience rather than excuse weak gameplay. That vision post landed two days before the Discord hangout announcement and one day before guild competition starts.

What happened

Guild Leaders and the solo board

In a Discord post promoting the Guild Season Warm-up hangout, Pixion said Guild Leaders will be eligible to compete on the Solo leaderboard. Only Guild Glory they personally earn will count toward that rank. Earnings from their Guild Leader fee will not be included.

That line matters for Guild Leaders who also want personal POWER from the solo cutoff at season end. Pixion had previously framed founders as off the solo board in earlier Season 5 coverage; this Discord post reopens solo competition for leaders under the Glory and fee rules above.

Guild Glory still comes from Valor, events, and chest conversions during the competitive phase. You must stay in a guild through September 17 to remain eligible for guild-season POWER, regardless of which board you target.

POWER webshop on Ronin and BNB Chain

In the August 20 Road to Global thread, Pixion said that in Season 5 players can use POWER through the Fableborne webshop across both Ronin and BNB Chain. The same post restated that a player-funded prize pool sends the overwhelming majority of eligible webshop spending back into seasonal competition, referencing the move from 70% in Season 4 toward 95% under Guilds 2.0 (also covered in Pixion's August Medium guild guide (opens in new tab)).

Official Helpshift webshop guidance (opens in new tab) still describes checkout through the Ronin app with RON for gas. The S4-era GitBook webshop page (opens in new tab) does not document a BNB rail. If you hold POWER on BNB Chain, open the live webshop before a large guild-season buy and confirm which wallet network the checkout expects.

Guild Season Warm-up hangout

The Discord post schedules a community hangout on August 23, 2026 at 15:00 UTC (Discord event (opens in new tab)). Planned segments include a casual Season 5 walkthrough, Q&A, a player showcase, and time for players looking for a guild to meet leaders. Pixion also said Diamonds will be given away to live audience members during the session.

Guild Leaders who planned to focus only on guild-board payouts can now chase solo POWER too, as long as their rank reflects personal Glory rather than fee income. Re-read any fee split you negotiated with members so solo and guild incentives still line up.

Members still compete on solo Glory while adding to guild totals. Use the recruitment week and the August 23 hangout to lock a seat before August 24 if you want guild-season rewards. Founders should finish seat purchases and fee splits at fableborne.com/guilds (opens in new tab) while recruitment rules still allow free movement.

Webshop spenders on either Ronin or BNB Chain should remember that eligible purchases grow the shared prize pool guilds fight over. Power Chest exclusions and exact pool math still follow Pixion's published season docs, not social posts alone.

Collectors

Kingdom stakers and POWER holders should watch whether cross-chain webshop volume changes how fast the guild prize pool grows during September. Marketplace pricing for NFT utility still tracks live season payouts, not manifesto rhetoric. Check POWER on the chain you actually use before bridging for a webshop session.
