Fableborne Season 5: August 12 launch, Guilds portal open now
Pixion Games set Fableborne Season 5 to open on August 12, 2026. The Ronin mobile ARPG is coming back after the Season 4 downtime window, and the studio already opened guild create and join on the web at fableborne.com/guilds (opens in new tab). Client downloads unlock when the season begins, so the practical move now is Pixion ID signup and guild setup before launch day.
Background
Fableborne is a free-to-play mobile title from Pixion Games that mixes short isometric raids with asynchronous kingdom defense. Play sits on Ronin. Optional Web3 layers use the POWER token plus Kingdom and Primordial NFTs.
Season 4 (opens in new tab) ran from December 2, 2025 through January 5, 2026, with a Guild Season from December 8–24 and a large seasonal POWER prize pool. Pixion’s Help Center still describes the studio as working toward Season 5 and a broader soft launch, with the game closed between seasons while the team ships the next build. The August 12 date and live guild portal supersede the older “date announced soon” FAQ wording for players watching Discord and X.
What happened
In late July 2026, Fableborne’s official Discord and the @fableborne (opens in new tab) account announced Season 5 with a fixed start date and an immediate guild window.
Confirmed for August 12 (studio announcement):
- Season start date: August 12, 2026 (timezone not published in the launch posts)
- Guilds open now for create, recruit, and join, only via fableborne.com/guilds (opens in new tab)
- Download available when the season begins (not before)
- New and returning players should register a Pixion ID on fableborne.com (opens in new tab)
- Docs, store links, and further detail were flagged as coming in the following days
Season 5 content headlines named in the same Discord post:
| Headline | What the studio said |
|---|---|
| Hero Equipment | New equipment systems for heroes |
| Unranked PvP Game Modes | Additional non-ranked PvP modes |
| Guilds 2.0 | Next version of the guild layer introduced in Season 4 |
| Shiver | New playable hero |
| Units | Eight new units, including two Imperials |
| Environment | A new environment |
| QoL | Various quality-of-life updates |
Treat that table as a headline list, not a patch notes dump. Pixion has not yet published a full Season 5 litepaper section comparable to the Season 4 schedule pages.
Earlier teasers useful as context (not the launch post):
- The litepaper hero customization page (opens in new tab) already describes equipment tiers and rarity, crafting resources from Kingdom workers, and Ability Rings after Ascending heroes.
- Recent @fableborne (opens in new tab) posts teased Glyphs produced by Workers for equipment upgrades, worker health affecting Glyph and Trophy production, and new unit names such as Blob and Guard.
- Secondary coverage of Dev Diaries 15 (opens in new tab) summarized a PvP ranking shift to Trophies (with Blue Orbs moving toward Hero XP and Star ratings). Wait for Pixion’s Season 5 docs before treating those numbers as final live rules.
Guilds baseline from Season 4 (still the best published rulebook):
Pixion’s guild Medium guide (opens in new tab) explained Pixion ID login, wallet link, Guild Valor and Guild Glory, founder seats (up to 50 members), and a Guild Season prize pool fed in part by webshop revenue. Guilds 2.0 changes for Season 5 are not spelled out in that article. Expect seats, splits, and prize-pool rules to update when S5 docs ship.
Power Protocol Staking Season 2 (opens in new tab) (June 10–July 10, 2026, 2.2M POWER pool) is a related ecosystem season for Kingdoms, Primordials, and locked POWER. It is separate from the August 12 game season.
Who it affects
Players
If you played Season 4, expect another limited-access season with a closed client until August 12. Use the downtime to create or join a guild on the web portal and to check that your Pixion ID is ready. Returning raiders should plan to re-learn loadouts once Hero Equipment and Unranked PvP modes go live; Shiver and the new units will change which defenses you practice against.
New players: Fableborne remains free to play on mobile when downloads open. Web3 pieces (POWER spends, NFT staking) stay optional for core raids.
Collectors
Kingdom and Primordial holders should watch how Season 5 guild and event rewards interact with the POWER economy, and whether staking portals publish a new season alongside the game. Do not price NFT utility from social teasers alone. Check live marketplace listings and Pixion docs when they publish Season 5 reward rules.
Guild founders who buy seats or recruit early should re-read seat and Glory-split mechanics when Guilds 2.0 docs land. Season 4 progress reset after the first Guild Season; assume seasonal resets unless Pixion states otherwise.

What to watch next
- Official Season 5 docs, download links, and store listings Pixion said would follow the Discord/X posts
- Exact Guilds 2.0 rules: seats, splits, prize pool %, and whether S4 Medium economics still apply
- Full kits for Shiver, the eight new units, and Unranked PvP mode details
- Whether Power Protocol opens another staking season beside the game calendar
- Soft-launch messaging on the Help Center release FAQ (opens in new tab) as it catches up to the dated announcement
Bottom line: Create or join a guild on fableborne.com/guilds (opens in new tab) and lock in a Pixion ID before August 12. Hold grinding plans and NFT utility assumptions until Pixion publishes Season 5 docs and the client actually opens for download.
