Gigaverse Awakening update: prize boxes and USDC withdrawals before November 15

Hard Core prize boxes and USDC withdrawals for Gigaverse's The Awakening are open on gigaverse.io (opens in new tab). You can turn in Hard Cores for boxes and open them for a chance at USDC and/or skins and other collectibles. You can also withdraw in-game USDC or GIGABIT as USDC sent to your wallet.

On November 15, 2026, leftover inventory USDC will convert to GIGABIT at 1 USDC to 100 GIGABIT. Remaining boxes that can roll USDC will open automatically, and USDC cashout will not reopen.

The October 9 pause update announced prize redemptions as planned.

Background

Gigaverse is GLHF's paid-entry browser RPG. Players bought in, ran dungeons and crafted in the client, and spent The Awakening gathering Hard Cores plus other event inventory. The Awakening ended and that client closed on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 18:00 UTC. Racing, dueling, and marketplace trading are paused. The client is offline. Prize claim and cashout run on gigaverse.io.

While the client is closed, the Hall of Noobs (opens in new tab) lists the top 60 Inaugural Gigachamps by Hard Cores gathered during the event.

GIGABIT is an in-game balance. Hard Cores are the event items you turn in for prize boxes. You turn in Void Chips and Gigus Candles for GIGABIT on Redeem.

What happened

Prize boxes opened October 20

On October 20, 2026, Gigaverse posted (opens in new tab) that The Awakening prize boxes were live. Turn in Hard Cores for prize boxes of your choice on the Redeem page (opens in new tab), then open them on the Boxes page (opens in new tab) for a chance at USDC, skins, or other collectibles.

A Gigaverse Discord announcement the same day added that you can keep boxes unopened for later, and that those boxes will be tradeable on the studio marketplace in the future. The studio has not set a date.

That October 20 post forecast USDC withdrawals within 24 hours if box redemptions had no issues.

USDC withdrawals opened October 21, with a November 15 cutoff

On October 21, 2026, Gigaverse posted (opens in new tab) that USDC redemptions for the Awakening event were live, pointed players to the Withdraw page (opens in new tab), and named November 15, 2026, as the cutoff.

A follow-up (opens in new tab) listed the cutoff rules. On November 15, 2026:

  • Event deals for turning in Hard Cores for Awakening boxes will strictly end and will not be claimable afterwards.
  • USDC items in inventory will convert to GIGABIT automatically at 1 USDC to 100 GIGABIT.
  • USDC cashout will be suspended and will not reopen.

The studio has not said whether withdrawing GIGABIT as USDC continues after USDC cashout is suspended.

A Gigaverse Discord announcement the same day matched those cutoff rules.

That follow-up points players who have not turned in Hard Cores yet to the Redeem page.

A second follow-up (opens in new tab) added that remaining boxes that can roll USDC will automatically open. That set includes Awakening boxes plus some holiday and event boxes. Any USDC those boxes roll will convert to GIGABIT for the box owner.

What the live pages say

The Redeem page (opens in new tab) tells you to redeem with the wallet that holds the items. Turn in Hard Cores for Hard Core boxes, then open them on the Boxes page. Turn in Void Chips and Gigus Candles for GIGABIT.

The Withdraw page (opens in new tab) says you withdraw GIGABIT and in-game USDC as USDC sent to your wallet.

The FAQ (opens in new tab) adds that in-game USDC withdraws 1:1. You turn in Gigus Candles for GIGABIT at a set rate, and Void Chips at a rate set by their prize pool. Nice, Jolly, Sneaky, and Naughty holiday boxes can contain USDC.

The Boxes page (opens in new tab) covers Hard Core boxes, Eternal boxes, and holiday gift boxes. Each box shows what it can hold.

The home page (opens in new tab) describes the Awakening prize pool as a gacha experience that rewards in USDC, with more details to follow. Players who meet a minimum Hard Cores threshold will be able to take part.

The studio has not published box odds, a contents table, a minimum Hard Cores threshold, or withdrawal fees.

Who it affects

Players holding Hard Cores

If you still hold Hard Cores, the Redeem page is where you turn them in for Hard Core boxes of your choice. Event deals for those redemptions end on November 15, 2026. An opening is a chance, not a payout.

Players holding in-game USDC or GIGABIT

The Withdraw page is open. If you want USDC in your wallet, withdraw before November 15, 2026. On November 15, 2026, leftover inventory USDC will convert to GIGABIT at 1 USDC to 100 GIGABIT, and USDC cashout will not come back.

Players holding Void Chips, Gigus Candles, or holiday boxes

Turn in Void Chips and Gigus Candles for GIGABIT on Redeem. Open holiday boxes on the Boxes page. Any USDC those boxes roll can be withdrawn while cashout is still open. Leftover boxes that can roll USDC will auto-open on November 15, 2026, and that USDC will convert to GIGABIT.
