Nomgar Clash update: League Elo floor to 600 and humans-first matchmaking
Moku tightened League and matchmaking in Nomgar Clash after the September launch on Ronin. September 29 patch notes required five verified human ranked matches per UTC day or −50 Elo, with a decay floor then set at 1,000 Elo. A later matchmaking update dropped that floor to 600 and put humans-first queues live on web and Android without a client download. Weekly payouts stay unchanged. Ranked climbers who miss the five-match bar still lose Elo each UTC day until they hit the floor.
Background
Nomgar Clash is Moku’s free-ranked Nexus-break card battler: eight-card decks fight to shatter a rival Nexus in the browser, with an Android sideload beta alongside web. League is the rated climb. Gold is a separate mode whose results now spell out NFT eligibility and daily caps. RON is the gas token on Ronin; top-ups in this patch also name bRON and ETH when primary checkout pricing fails.
This follows our September launch coverage of the live client and Friday bRON reward board. September 29 notes keep those weekly payouts unchanged, so treat the Friday board and any Saturday ranked snapshot as separate clocks.
What happened
League Elo decay and the floor drop to 600
In September 29 patch notes posted in the official Moku Discord (opens in new tab), Moku said League players must finish five verified human ranked matches per UTC day to avoid Elo decay. Days under that bar cost 50 Elo, with no grace period. Completed wins, losses, and verified draws count. Bot matches and quitting do not. Daily checks run at 00:00 UTC, starting September 30. Those notes set the decay floor at 1,000 Elo and stated that weekly payouts are unchanged.
A later matchmaking update in the same Discord channel lowered the floor from 1,000 to 600. Decay is still 50 Elo per day under five real human PvP matches that day. No rating changed on that announce day. The first day counted against the new floor settled at 2026-10-02 00:00:00 UTC (03:00 Europe/Bucharest, EEST). Play five qualifying matches in a UTC day and you skip decay.
Humans-first matchmaking
That matchmaking update is live on Android and Web with no download required. Server-side matchmaking and Elo rules apply on both platforms.
| Wait | Behavior |
|---|---|
| 0-45 seconds | Close, fair match (same as before) |
| After 45 seconds | Any available human |
| After 60 seconds | Bot only if nobody else is searching |
Wider pairings after 45 seconds can be less even. Moku prefers a real opponent over a bot. Brand-new players stay protected: the wider search pairs beginners with opponents close to their account level.
September 29 notes already stretched standard bot fallback to 60 seconds and tightened League limits on Elo and deck strength, including tower and strongest-card level gaps. Players on older builds search a separate queue and mostly meet bots. Update Android or refresh nomgar.com/play/ (opens in new tab) to join the shared pool.
League Elo awards and results UI
Companion Discord updates clarified League Elo pay and post-match readouts:
- Post-match League UI shows Elo before, after, and the delta
- After placement, League vs League wins award 4-12 Elo, even against much lower-rated opponents; equal ratings award +8
- The first 30 rated League PvP matches use double stakes: 8-24 Elo per win
- The first five matchmaking-bot wins per UTC day award +2 Elo each (up to +10); results show the daily allowance; it resets at 00:00 UTC; qualifying awarded wins restart the inactivity timer
- Gold results explain NFT eligibility and daily caps
Guin targeting and NFT withdrawal search
The same wave fixed charged Guin lane targeting and made NFT withdrawals searchable by name, token ID, or level, with Nomgar and skin filters plus a warning when inventory refresh fails.
WebGL battle and result client
September 29 WebGL work improves pending-result recovery, leaderboard refresh on verified settle, stuck matchmaking after bot join or login change, retry when a match fails to start, and clearer placement, bot-Elo allowance, and result-verification messages.
The new battle/result client fixes and upgrade celebration changes are live on WebGL. Android 0.1.8 does not yet include those client changes. Server-side matchmaking and Elo rules are live everywhere. Later Android builds may catch up; only claim client parity when a dated public source says so.
Forge and upgrades
RagMons in the game wallet can Forge with sponsored transaction fees; interrupted approval, burn, and delivery recover more cleanly; replacement Nomgars keep upgrade level; on WebGL, upgrade celebrations wait until inventory verify.
Top-up backup pricing
Top-ups gained backup pricing for RON, bRON, and ETH when the primary price provider fails.
Android sideload beta wave
Discord named Android beta 0.1.7, then 0.1.8 with an in-game download flow (progress, retry, install prompts). Existing Android players need one manual install over the existing app (do not uninstall first) so later required updates can prompt inside the game. A thin follow-up said 0.1.9 is live and prompts players still on 0.1.8.
The official Android download page (opens in new tab) lists Beta 0.1.10 (about 235.7 MB, Android 8.0+, sideload package com.nomgar.clash.sideload). Verify the APK against the published SHA-256 on the checksum page (opens in new tab): 9e7703f5df8abf8b1bbba7a9dc7fe405de8979684f1d5caceaef7e99abfc833e. Site copy from 0.1.8 onward says the game checks for updates on open.
Who it affects
League climbers
Treat five verified human ranked finishes per UTC day as the anti-decay quota. Wins, losses, and verified draws fill it; bots and quits do not. Under five, budget the 50 Elo hit until the 600 floor. Prefer the 0-45s fair window; after 45s expect wider humans; after 60s a bot only when the pool is empty. Bot +2 wins help a little, but they do not replace the five-human decay bar.
Web vs Android players
Refresh nomgar.com/play/ (opens in new tab) for WebGL battle/result and celebration fixes. On Android, install from nomgar.com/android (opens in new tab) and check the checksum before you trust a sideload APK. Server MM and Elo already apply on both; do not assume Android has the WebGL-only client work until Moku says a build includes it.
Collectors and Forge wallets
Gold result copy that names NFT eligibility and daily caps matters when you play Gold for Unit or skin paths. Sponsored Forge fees lower gas friction on eligible RagMon burns; still verify the minted Unit on Nomgar Units and cosmetics on Nomgar Skins after any burn or withdrawal.

What to watch next
- Whether a later Android build ships WebGL battle/result and upgrade-celebration client parity (only with a dated public note)
- Any change to weekly payout tables (Sep 29 kept them unchanged)
- Fresh nomgar.com/android (opens in new tab) version and checksum (opens in new tab) before each sideload
- Moku Discord (opens in new tab) and nomgar.com/play/ (opens in new tab) for the next League or MM tweak
Bottom line: Hit five verified human ranked matches each UTC day if you want to keep Elo above the 600 floor, refresh web for client fixes, and verify the Android APK checksum before you install. Weekly payouts stay unchanged; keep the Friday bRON board clocks from our September launch coverage.
