Nomgar Clash live on Ronin: weekly bRON ladder and Forge burns

Moku launched Nomgar Clash on Ronin on September 16, 2026. The browser strategy title puts eight-card decks against rival Nexuses, and the official weekly bRON leaderboard opened Friday, September 18 at 00:00 UTC. For six weeks, the top 100 share 200,000 bRON each week from a 1.2 million bRON launch pool, with another Grand Arena Season 2 pack per weekly top-100 finish.

If you already play Moku’s fantasy side, treat Nomgar as a separate climb that still pays into the next Grand Arena season. If you hold stranded Ronin gaming NFTs, the Forge is the burn path into playable Nomgar Units.

Background

Nomgar Clash is a free-ranked Nexus-break card battler from Moku, the same studio behind Moku Grand Arena. Matches run in the browser: you spend Soul Energy to drop troops, spells, and buildings, hold bridges, and shatter the enemy Nexus before the clock or the opposing deck ends the fight. bRON (bonded RON) entered the Moku stack earlier in 2026 as a spend-only token backed 1:1 with RON, first highlighted for Grand Arena in the April 7, 2026 Ronin Newsletter⁠ (opens in new tab). What happened

Live client and open playtest

Per the September 16 Ronin Newsletter⁠ (opens in new tab), Nomgar Clash went live with an open playtest window before the official reward board. The Newsletter’s competitive clock is clear: the official leaderboard started September 18, 2026 at 00:00 UTC.

Deck rules in that post: each player brings an 8-card deck of troops, spells, and buildings; the win condition is destroying the opponent’s Nexus. Cards can be upgraded, so duplicates matter for power. The Newsletter cites 51 cards to unlock; the live site markets 47 Nomgarmons. Treat them as two published figures until Moku reconciles the roster copy.

Each weekly top-100 finish also awards one Grand Arena S2 Pack. Packs land on the wallet you used to place on the Nomgar board when Grand Arena Season 2 starts. S2 packs are not Season 1-style fixed NFT card packs; the Newsletter says they hold shares of Mokis on a bonding curve.

Forge burns into Nomgar Units

The same launch post wires existing Ronin gaming NFTs into the roster through the Forge: select an eligible NFT, pay a Gem fee, burn the source asset, and receive a Nomgar NFT in your wallet. Season 1 supported collections named in the Newsletter:

Ragmons get a 1:1 unique Nomgar per burn. Other collections unlock their corresponding unit (for example, an Apeiron Planet or Apostle unlocking Ape the Iron Planet). Site Forge copy adds a concrete RagMon example: 10 Gems plus network gas, with the minted Nomgarmon keeping the same rarity and level, after Ragnarok: Monster World shut down on December 29, 2025.

Piñatas can also surface integrated troops such as Moki, Ronke, and Schiffy inside the client. Those are in-game troop unlocks in the Newsletter story, not a separate catalog token thesis.

Two clocks on the ladder

Do not merge the reward board with the ranked snapshot. The Newsletter’s Friday 00:00 UTC reset governs the launch bRON / top-100 weeks. The product site describes a separate Saturday 00:00 UTC snapshot that saves ranked standings while trophies and Elo carry forward. Until a later season posts its own bRON table on the site, treat the six-week Newsletter board as the launch prize schedule and the Saturday save as the ranked progress clock.

Competitive players

Show up for Friday resets if you want a clean shot at the weekly 200k bRON cut and the S2 pack. Missing one Friday does not lock you out of the next week’s board. Use the Saturday ranked snapshot only for trophy/Elo continuity; it is not the same timer as the reward reset.

Collectors and Forge wallets

If you hold Season 1-eligible Ronin NFTs, Forge is a permanent burn: confirm the collection is still listed, budget Gems and RON gas, and verify the minted Unit on Nomgar Units (OpenSea: nomgar-units⁠ (opens in new tab)). Cosmetic looks sit in Nomgar Skins when you trade cosmetics separately from playable Units.

Grand Arena collectors who chase S2 Moki-share packs should place with the wallet they want to receive packs in, then watch Moku’s Grand Arena Season 2 start notice. Moki Genesis remains the GA-side athlete collection; Nomgar Units are the Clash roster NFTs.
