Upland Troves update: 284 recipes and Gold banking
On October 27, 2026, 284 crafting recipes went live at Service Structures, neighborhood businesses on the map, in Upland. Gold banking is the next banking tier above Bronze and Silver. Twenty additional progression levels raise the current limit of Level 40. A Trove type is a kind of collectible, and a copy is one item of that type. Collected copies can be used as ingredients to craft higher-level Troves or banked toward your progression level.

Troves went live on October 22, 2026, in the first beta with 189 unique Troves available to discover and collect, and with Trove Banking at Bronze and Silver. Upland's Troves Go Live Today (opens in new tab) page said there were no crafting recipes at launch, and that recipes would begin rolling out in later batches.
What happened
Recipes go live at Service Structures
Upland's Troves Expands Today (opens in new tab) page, dated October 27, 2026, said 284 crafting recipes went live at Service Structures. There are now 372 Troves available to collect, up from 189 unique Troves at launch. Upland does not say how many are craft-only.
Recipes use collected copies as ingredients to craft higher-level Troves. Some of those crafted Troves can then become ingredients in other recipes.
Finding a Trove type for the first time reveals the recipes that use it. Each discovered recipe shows the ingredients you need, so you can see what you already have and what you still need to find.
Once you have a discovered recipe and the ingredient copies it lists, craft at the Service Structure where the recipe is available. A Block Explorer is Upland's in-map tool you move near objects. It is not a blockchain explorer.
- Move your Block Explorer to the Service Structure where the recipe is available.
- Open its full-screen view and select Craft.
- Choose the recipe. The craft uses up the required ingredient copies.
Each recipe has a main result. On the October 22 page, some recipes may also give additional or rarer Troves as a bonus. Requirements and rewards vary by recipe. Upland has not published the list of the 284 recipes or which Service Structures host them.
Gold banking and Level 40
Gold banking is the next banking tier above Bronze and Silver. Twenty additional progression levels raise the current limit of Level 40.
You permanently deposit copies into the Trove Vault to meet progression level requirements. That deposit is the primary way to raise your progression level. Your profile shows the next milestone, its requirements, and the reward you can earn.
Banked Troves cannot be withdrawn or used in recipes.
Upland has not published Gold banking requirements or the rewards for the new progression levels.

More recipes and higher banking tiers are coming as the phased Troves launch continues. No date is published.
