Illuvium Arena's Abyssal Chasm Event Pass ends on October 27, 2026, at 00:00 UTC. Ranked Gauntlet still feeds the Free and Premium tracks until then. Illuvium Challengers Series #2 Day One is October 18, 2026, at 19:00 UTC, with finals on October 25, 2026, at 19:00 UTC, for $500 USD in ILV. You need the Premium Event Pass to enter.

Background
Illuvium: Arena is Illuvium's free-to-start Gauntlet auto-battler on Immutable. You field Illuvials in eight-player free-for-alls. Gauntlet is free-to-start without NFT ownership. Leviathan is where owned Illuvials matter for unique stats and looks. Event Pass Illuvials come with a set Trait Purity Indicator (TPI) and level, so they are ready for that owned-unit play, not a cosmetic sticker.
Event Passes are short tracks on Ranked Gauntlet. Everyone can walk the Free Track. Premium costs 800 Fuel on the Event Pass screen in the client and unlocks the second track plus Premium missions. Illuvium shipped the Abyssal Chasm pass with Arena v1.18.8 on October 7, 2026. Later patches have followed, including Update 1.18.9 (opens in new tab) on October 13, 2026.

What happened
Pass window and tracks
On October 7, 2026, @illuviumio (opens in new tab) posted that Arena v1.18.8 had deployed and that the Abyssal Chasm Event Pass was underway. Illuvium posted the same day in the official Illuvium Discord (opens in new tab) and pointed Rangers to the Abyssal Chasm Event Pass notes (opens in new tab).
Those notes set the window: October 7, 2026 through October 27, 2026, 00:00 UTC (19 days). Premium is 800 Fuel. Only Ranked Gauntlet matches grant Arena Points and mission progress. Unranked matches do not. You claim on the track as the bar hits each threshold from 3 to 750. When the event ends, unclaimed rewards on the track are gone.
Update through the Epic Games Store before you queue, then open Event Pass in the client.
Missions
Missions sit on the Event Pass screen and pay extra Arena Points on top of Ranked play. Each mission is randomly assigned from a pool, and a mission will not repeat until you have completed every mission in that pool at least once.

Ranked Gauntlet players
If you still want Abyssal Chasm rewards, queue Ranked Gauntlet before October 27, 2026, 00:00 UTC. Unranked matches do not move the bar. Clear the assigned daily and weekly missions as they come up. Claim on the track when you hit 3, 5, 10, 15, through 750.
Premium buyers
Premium costs 800 Fuel on the Event Pass screen. That spend unlocks the second track, Premium missions, the higher-TPI Illuvials, the XP boosts, the emote, the Challenger title, and Series #2 entry. The Free Track still pays Illuvials and Fuel if you skip Premium.
Series #2 competitors
You need the Premium Event Pass. Signup is first come, first served, with a backup list, through the Event Pass notes (opens in new tab). Sylen hosts. Day One on October 18, 2026, at 19:00 UTC cuts 32 to 8 in two best-of-one rounds. The final eight play October 25, 2026, at 19:00 UTC in a best-of-three points final. The pool is $500 USD in ILV, with first at $200.
Collectors
Track Illuvials are Illuvials with a set TPI and level, including Premium Phorus and Goliant at 65 TPI, Level 45. The $500 USD in ILV pool is a competition payout in ILV.
