Illuvium Epoch 12 IMC election: voting open until November 3

Illuvium opened Epoch 12 Illuvium Main Council (IMC) voting on Snapshot, an off-chain voting platform, on October 31, 2026. The window runs until November 3, 2026, 05:00 UTC. Five seats are up. Voting power is vILV.

Background

The Epoch 12 Snapshot proposal describes the IMC as an elected body that represents ILV token holders and oversees governance in the Illuvium DAO. Council members review proposals. This vote chooses who serves on the IMC for Epoch 12.

GCCP-4 (opens in new tab), an Illuvium governance proposal on Snapshot, states that "The IMC shall consist of five (5) members, all elected by token stakers (vILV)" and that "Only one (1) of the five elected members may be from Illuvium Labs."

GCCP-6 (opens in new tab), an Illuvium governance proposal approved on Snapshot, caps total IMC pay from Epoch 12 at the lesser of $10,000 or 1% of monthly revenue distribution, split equally among serving members and paid in ILV.

vILV counts ILV in staking, the ILV inside staked ILV/ETH liquidity positions, and locked ILV for investors and team. Unstaked ILV does not count.

What happened

Nominations close and the delayed start

On October 23, 2026, Illuvium said (opens in new tab) voting would open immediately after nominations, for 72 hours, and it opened October 31 instead. Nominations closed October 27, 2026, 05:00 UTC, per Illuvium's October 26 reminder (opens in new tab).

On October 31, 2026, Illuvium posted (opens in new tab) that Epoch 12 IMC voting is open. Illuvium wrote, "The Snapshot issue has been resolved." That post names the close only. The Snapshot proposal sets the opening at October 31, 2026, 05:00 UTC.

Where to vote

Cast the vote on the Epoch 12 Snapshot proposal (opens in new tab) in Illuvium's Snapshot voting space. That live proposal page is the Epoch 12 IMC ballot you sign. Votes are quadratic: casting N votes for a nominee costs N² vILV, per the proposal. The proposal asks each wallet to vote for a single nominee. It lists 12 nominees. The proposal page asks you to choose an option and sign with a compatible wallet. Votes stay hidden until the close.

Illuvium asked (opens in new tab) voters to review the nominee list and questionnaire responses (opens in new tab) before they vote.

Who it affects

ILV holders

If you have vILV, read the nominee list and questionnaire responses, then vote on the Snapshot proposal before November 3, 2026, 05:00 UTC. If you play and do not have vILV, play itself does not change on this vote.
