Might and Magic: Fates Sylvan Key presale, 1,000 cap until September 27

Ubisoft opened the Sylvan Key Bundle presale for Might and Magic: Fates on August 28, 2026. The shop listing is capped at 1,000 tradable keys and will run until September 27, 2026 on mightandmagicfates.com/shop (opens in new tab). If you hold a Founder Key, Ubisoft applies a 20% discount on the bundle. Collectors chasing the next faction Key line on Immutable should treat the end date and supply cap as the decision window, not a ranked patch.

Background

Might and Magic: Fates is Ubisoft’s free-to-play hero TCG on Immutable zkEVM, live globally on mobile since February 4, 2026 and on Steam Early Access from February 16. Ranked play does not require a wallet. Optional ownership flows through Fates Cards and Key bundle lines when region rules allow.

Ubisoft already ran a Faction Key presale ahead of Stronghold Rising in June 2026. The live Might and Magic Fates FAQ (opens in new tab) still documents the Stronghold Key Mighty Bundle: tradable VIP Key, limited Legendary card, a 10 rare+ faction pack, 60 Card Packs, and an exclusive faction card back, with 1,000 keys total and a three-bundle-per-user purchase cap. Community coverage on Celestial Heavens (opens in new tab) has long flagged Sylvan as the next faction after Stronghold. The Sylvan Key presale follows that same commerce rhythm ahead of a new faction beat.

Web3Raider covered The Forge opening on August 26, 2026 as the in-game mint path for Veteran duplicates. The Sylvan Key bundle is a separate webshop presale for tradable VIP entitlements and named faction cards, not a Forge fee table change.

What happened

Presale announcement

On August 28, 2026, Ubisoft posted in the official Might & Magic: Fates Discord (opens in new tab) that the Sylvan Key Bundle presale was live on the official webshop (opens in new tab) until September 27, 2026. The post caps supply at 1,000 Sylvan Keys and lists the bundle as:

  • 1 Tradable Sylvan VIP Key
  • 1 Limited Legendary Tradable Card
  • 1 Legendary Hero Tradable Card
  • 1 Sylvan Pack with 10 Rare+ tradable cards
  • 60 card Packs and additional items (“& more!”)

Founder Key holders receive a 20% discount on the bundle, per the same Discord post. That sits beside the existing Helpshift rule that Founder Keys already auto-apply 20% off Diamond packs on the webshop (Helpshift Webshop FAQ (opens in new tab)). The Sylvan bundle discount is a separate SKU perk; check the live shop UI before you assume one Key type covers both.

No public USD price for the Sylvan bundle was published in the Discord posts or indexed site FAQ at write time. The shop page loads bundle pricing in the signed-in client.

Pack clarification

A follow-up Discord note in the same thread said the bundle follows the same model as the previous key and clarified that “10 Rare+ Cards” means seven Rares and three Epics, not ten Epics:

RarityCard
EpicPristine Unicorn, Petrification, Thornsower Druid
RareSprite, Ancient Treant, Oak Dryad, Sharpshooter, Sun Deer, Embassy, Ranger's Cape

Those names fit the nature-themed Sylvan lane that Celestial Heavens and prior Fates coverage have treated as the next faction expansion after Stronghold. Ubisoft did not name the Limited Legendary or Legendary Hero SKUs in either Discord post.

Stronghold precedent (structural model)

Because staff pointed buyers to the prior Key model, the Stronghold Key Mighty Bundle FAQ remains the best public checklist for what “& more!” likely includes until Ubisoft posts a Sylvan FAQ entry. Stronghold’s documented bundle added an Exclusive Stronghold Card Back alongside the VIP Key, limited Legendary, rare+ pack, and 60 Card Packs. Treat any Sylvan card-back line as unconfirmed until the shop or FAQ names it.

Stronghold’s FAQ also set 1,000 total keys, a three-bundle-per-user cap, and a presale window from June 3 through June 15, 2026, with VIP Key delivery on June 18 and the rest arriving with the June 23 faction release. Sylvan’s Discord posts confirm the 1,000 cap and September 27 presale end only. They do not repeat the three-bundle limit or name delivery dates for the VIP Key versus faction cards.

Faction Keys trade on TokenTrove’s Faction Keys collection (opens in new tab), separate from Founder Keys (opens in new tab). Stronghold Keys already appear there; Sylvan listings will matter for secondary verification after mint.

Who it affects

Founder Key holders

If you already own a Founder Key, the presale post promises 20% off the Sylvan Key Bundle itself. That is distinct from the standing 20% Diamond pack discount on the webshop. Open the live bundle tile on mightandmagicfates.com/shop (opens in new tab) while signed in and confirm the reduced price before checkout.

Collectors

This is a limited-supply Faction Key line with named tradable Sylvan cards upfront. The 1,000 cap means the presale can sell out before September 27. Compare bundle contents against secondary listings on TokenTrove and match contracts to Fates Cards before you buy off-market. Gas for typical Immutable zkEVM marketplace moves still uses IMX when Passport sponsorship does not cover the fee.

Optional NFT cards remain cosmetic for ranked power under Ubisoft’s Helpshift framing: NFT and non-NFT copies share the same function, with tradability as the main difference (Helpshift NFT FAQ (opens in new tab)).

Ranked players (no wallet)

You do not need this bundle to queue ranked. Fates stays free-to-play; the Sylvan Key line accelerates ownership and faction-themed cards for buyers who want tradable copies, not a pay-to-win ranked edge. Faction cards from future Sylvan releases should still arrive in the broader card pool under Ubisoft’s live rotation rules.

What to watch next

  • Whether Ubisoft adds a Sylvan Key Mighty Bundle FAQ block on mightandmagicfates.com/faq (opens in new tab) with price, delivery dates, and purchase limits
  • Limited Legendary and Legendary Hero card names in the shop UI or a follow-up Discord post
  • Confirmation of extras beyond the 60 packs (Stronghold used an exclusive card back)
  • Sylvan faction release timing and whether bundle cards unlock on that date
  • TokenTrove listings for Sylvan VIP Keys after mint
  • Any mirror post on X / MightMagicFates (opens in new tab)

Bottom line: If you want a tradable Sylvan VIP Key and the named Rare/Epic pack, buy through mightandmagicfates.com/shop (opens in new tab) before the 1,000 cap or September 27 window closes. Founder Key holders should confirm the 20% bundle discount in the live UI, and collectors should verify contracts on Fates Cards before paying secondary prices.
