Stacked rewards hub for Pixels: missions, streaks, and cash-out
Stacked is the Pixels team's rewards hub on Ronin: matched missions, streaks, and cash-out across Pixels and sibling ecosystem titles. The soft launch landed in late March 2026. By mid-June, the practical split is simple. Keep farming inside play.pixels.xyz (opens in new tab) if that is all you need, or open app.stacked.xyz (opens in new tab) when you want a shared mission feed, push alerts, or crypto cash-out options.
By mid-June the reward mix players meet under live campaigns is PIXEL, USDC, and Stacked Points, split between what stays in the Pixels client and what the Stacked app adds.
Background
Pixels is a wallet-optional farm MMO from Banger Inc. on Ronin. You grow crops, fill Task Board deliveries, and opt into land or pets when you want owned assets. The PIXEL token is the franchise currency for premium sinks and staking under live rules. Ronin is both the network where those assets settle and a platform hub for ecosystem discovery.
Stacked is a separate gaming hub the same team spun out after years of LiveOps experiments inside Pixels. It is not a chain. On-chain moves still use Ronin (chain ID 2020) and RON for gas. Stacked sits above play as a rewards layer: studios feed gameplay signals; players see missions and claims in one place.
Official launch posts from March 26, 2026 frame a soft start on first-party titles (Pixels, Pixel Dungeons, Sleepagotchi, and Chubkins in early access). The early rewards feed focuses on that PIXEL ecosystem before wider partners. Marketing lives at stacked.xyz (opens in new tab); the live player surface is the web app at app.stacked.xyz (opens in new tab).
What happened
Soft launch on Ronin
On March 26, 2026, Ronin's newsletter (opens in new tab) and The Pixels Post (opens in new tab) introduced Stacked as live on Ronin. Players complete missions matched to how they play, build streaks, earn rewards, and withdraw from one app. Studios get event tracking, targeting, fraud controls, automated payouts, and an AI game economist for LiveOps experiments.
The posts stress privacy framing on the player side: gameplay signals stay inside Stacked for better matching, and personal data is not sold to third parties. Treat campaign details, payout sizes, and eligibility as live app rules. They change by offer.
Optional app vs in-game Pixels rewards
Pixels CEO Luke Barwikowski told BlockchainGamerBiz (opens in new tab) that current Pixels players do not need to download Stacked. The studio creates a silent backend account so in-game rewards can keep working inside Pixels. You open the Stacked app when you want cross-game rewards, different cash-out options, or the shared daily feed with notifications.
That split is the main trap to avoid. Stacked is optional for Terra Villa grinders who only chase in-client rewards. It becomes the front door when you leave a single-title loop.
Missions, streaks, and earn modes
stacked.xyz (opens in new tab) markets three player-facing paths:
- Play & Earn: missions tied to progression and play in supported games.
- Create & Share: highlights and guides with multipliers where campaigns allow.
- Cash Out: redeem eligible balances (crypto first; more options on the roadmap).
Streaks and multipliers sit on top of active offers: consistent daily activity can raise how much an offer pays. Missions are matched to play style rather than a single static quest board. Exact multipliers and streak lengths are per campaign in the app, not fixed forever in a blog post.
Reward mix: PIXEL, USDC, and Stacked Points
Official posts describe an evolving mix, not a single forever payout token:
| Asset | Direction (as of launch-era posts) |
|---|---|
| PIXEL | Stays central to the ecosystem; roadmap toward more staking-centric utility |
| USDC | Stable crypto rewards for some audiences; also called out in staking-reward contexts |
| Stacked Points | Hub points aimed at fiat-style paths (gift cards / PayPal) as those ship |
| In-game soft currency | Stays inside each title's own sinks |
The Pixels Post (opens in new tab) notes Stacked and Chubkins surfaces in the PIXEL staking UI, with USDC staking rewards also live at that time. Check pixels.xyz (opens in new tab) and the app before you lock tokens. Terms move.
Barwikowski's interview frames the long-term shift the same way: PIXEL toward stake-only use, player rewards toward USDC or Stacked Points, with instant crypto cash-out still available when balances qualify.
Cash-out options
Per stacked.xyz (opens in new tab):
- Crypto cash-out is the live path for eligible balances.
- PayPal and gift cards are marked coming soon.
- iOS and Android native apps are coming soon; the web app is the entry point.
Barwikowski described the initial crypto off-ramp as PIXEL-led, with gift-card and fiat options planned shortly after launch. Always read the live withdrawal screen for minimums, KYC, and region support before you plan around a payout.
Who it affects
Pixels-only farmers
If you already play Terra Villa loops and only care about in-game rewards, you can stay on play.pixels.xyz (opens in new tab). Stacked runs behind the scenes without forcing a second download. Still bookmark official Stacked URLs so you do not land on phishing clones when a campaign pushes a new path.
Cross-game and cash-out users
Open app.stacked.xyz (opens in new tab) when you chase missions across Pixels ecosystem titles, want streak tracking in one feed, or need crypto cash-out. Fund RON for gas before any on-chain withdrawal, and confirm you are on Ronin chain ID 2020 before you sign.
Collectors and stakers
Land, pets, and PIXEL balances still follow game and staking rules, not Stacked marketing copy. If you stake PIXEL into ecosystem projects, verify the live staking UI and linked surfaces (including any Stacked or Chubkins entries) on official Pixels pages. Do not treat a rewards-hub headline as a floor or yield promise.
