Sunflower Land's Spooky Night: Halloween 2026 community-built event

Spooky Night is a community-built Halloween event for Sunflower Land: a bullet-heaven portal on Halloween Island. The game's English translation file says that surviving waves and collecting exp orbs earn event tokens for a tiered shop. Per the game's public code and the live client as of October 26, 2026, that event's window opened October 26, 2026, 00:00 UTC (Beta Pass holders earlier) and runs until November 2, 2026, 00:00 UTC. Sunflower Land's Discord the same day said the portal would open soon. No official post says it has opened.

Background

Sunflower Land is Thought Farm's wallet-optional farm RPG. $FLOWER is the game's on-chain utility token.

The Discord announcement calls the event Spooky Night. In the game's English translation file the welcome line is Halloween 2026 Community Event, and the portal title is Sunflower Survivors - Halloween Edition. Discord calls the shop currency event tokens. The public event shop list names that currency Halloween Token 2026.

Sunflower Land's next Chapter opens November 2, 2026, the same calendar day the code window ends.

What happened

Added to the game (October 23)

On October 23, 2026, community contributor Telk (telk2) merged⁠ (opens in new tab) Halloween 2026 Event. Release v2.28.71-halloween-2026⁠ (opens in new tab) calls it the Halloween 2026 event by Telk. That update adds Halloween Island, NPCs, decorations and wearables, a tiered event shop, Vampire Jim's gift, a tiered portal prize, and a Halloween World Map during the event.

Release v2.28.72-halloween-scene-gate⁠ (opens in new tab) says Halloween Island requires level 2 or higher, the same level the World Map requires.

Community-built teaser on X (October 25)

On October 25, 2026, the official Sunflower Land account posted⁠ (opens in new tab) that a new community-built event was coming to Sunflower Land. The post includes a video. It does not name Spooky Night or the dates.

Discord: Spooky Night (October 26)

On October 26, 2026, Sunflower Land posted in Discord that Spooky Night was coming. The post describes a bullet-heaven portal, waves of enemies, and an evil sorcerer to beat. Event tokens exchange for Halloween rewards in the event shop. Discord says there is a leaderboard before the event ends. Players who prefer a slower pace can complete quests and collect event tokens that way.

The portal and the event shop are on Halloween Island, reached from the World Map. That post does not name start or end dates. It says the portal will open soon.

The event shop sells Halloween-themed items for $FLOWER. Discord says players can buy extra attempts at the portal. Currency and price for those attempts are not published.

Vampire Jim's gift on the island is a Cultist Crow.

Event shop in public code

The event shop has five tiers: basic, rare, epic, mega, and extra. Rare, epic, and mega unlock after buying 6, 12, and 16 different event items from any tier. Extra unlocks after buying all of them. Items cost Halloween Token 2026 or $FLOWER. The public list includes Halloween decorations, crows, and wearables. Leaderboard prizes and portal prize amounts are not published.

Who it affects

Players on Halloween Island

If you are level 2 or higher, Halloween Island is on the World Map during the event window. The portal and the event shop are there, along with quests and a leaderboard. Portal play and quests earn event tokens. You do not have to spend $FLOWER in the event shop. You do not have to buy extra attempts at the portal.

Collectors

Shop crows, decorations, and wearables are Halloween event items in the public code. Thought Farm did not name a collection or a contract for those items.
