Tollan Universe NFT migration: Genesis Avatars and Items to Ethereum

On October 27, 2026, at 17:00 UTC, Tollan Universe is scheduled to open migration of Genesis Avatars and the Items collection from Abstract to Ethereum Mainnet.

A snapshot of Tollan NFTs is scheduled at that time. Trading and transfers of those NFTs on Abstract will stop at the same time. Holders then migrate them before December 14, 2026, at 00:00 UTC, through the website Tollan shares in Discord.

Background

Tollan Universe is Foretold Studios' browser and PC wave-survival game. You can start playing without paying. Play and store purchases already run on Robinhood Chain after the October 16 account-migration update. Genesis Avatars and the Items collection remain on Abstract.

On October 6, 2026, Abstract announced a full L2 wind-down, with assets to be migrated before December 15, 2026. See Abstract winding down. Other studios' Abstract-exit notices include Onchain Heroes and Spellborne.

On October 9, 2026, Tollan published the X Article "Our Next Chapter," planning NFT "bridges" to Ethereum with a cutoff of December 15, 2026, at 00:00 UTC.

The October 16 update said NFT migration would launch later. It also said to keep Genesis Avatars and Items in Abstract Global Wallet (AGW) until then. No date was given.

Tollan's Week 18 docs (opens in new tab) already say the Genesis Avatars and Items collections will migrate to Ethereum Mainnet. Those docs do not yet name the October 27, 2026, at 17:00 UTC window.

What happened

Migration schedule

An announcement in the official Tollan Universe Discord (opens in new tab) said Genesis Avatars and Items collection migration from Abstract to Ethereum Mainnet is scheduled to open on October 27, 2026, at 17:00 UTC.

A snapshot of Tollan NFTs will be taken at that same time. Trading and transfers of Tollan NFTs on Abstract will stop at the same time.

How migration works

Migrate one NFT collection at a time, with up to 100 NFTs per batch. You can change your destination Ethereum wallet between batches, so different batches can go to different wallets.

For this migration there are no gas fees on Abstract. Connecting your Abstract wallet only requires a free signature. Each batch requires one Ethereum Mainnet transaction, with gas paid in ETH by your destination Ethereum wallet.

Deadline and unclaimed NFTs

The migration deadline is December 14, 2026, at 00:00 UTC. NFTs not migrated by that deadline are unclaimed.

Unclaimed Genesis Avatars will be transferred to the Tollan team wallet and cannot be recovered by previous owners. Unclaimed Items will not be transferred to the team wallet. Tollan said they will become permanently unclaimable, reducing the circulating supply.

Official migration website

Tollan has not yet shared the official migration website. Tollan said it will share that website in the official Tollan Universe Discord when the window opens, and to migrate only through that website. Tollan never DMs first or asks for token approvals or your seed phrase.

No first-party migration website was on tollan.io (opens in new tab) or the GitBook docs at write time.

What changed from the October plans

Initially, Tollan's October 9 X Article (opens in new tab) "Our Next Chapter" planned a staggered path: Genesis Avatars first, then a Skin Exchange for 14 days, then Items, with both "bridges" open until December 15, 2026, at 00:00 UTC. A July 21, 2026 X Article (opens in new tab) described the Skin Exchange as exchanging five skins of the same rarity for a chance at a higher-rarity skin, Tollan Overworld Boxes, or Scrap. A Discord announcement later scheduled both collections to open at October 27, 2026, at 17:00 UTC, with an NFT deadline of December 14, 2026, at 00:00 UTC. That announcement does not mention the Skin Exchange.

Account migration is a separate system from this NFT migration. The October 16 update gives unmigrated Abstract accounts a deadline of December 15, 2026, at 00:00 UTC.

Who it affects

Holders of Genesis Avatars and Items

If you hold Genesis Avatars or the Items collection on Abstract, wait for the official migration website in the official Tollan Universe Discord when the October 27, 2026, at 17:00 UTC window opens, then migrate through that website only. You can send different batches to different Ethereum wallets. Migrate before December 14, 2026, at 00:00 UTC. After that deadline, unclaimed Avatars go to the Tollan team wallet. Unclaimed Items become permanently unclaimable.

Keep ETH in the destination Ethereum wallet for the Mainnet fee. Connecting the Abstract wallet is a free signature.

Players who already completed Tollan account migration

Account migration does not move Genesis Avatars or the Items collection. Those NFTs need the official migration website once Tollan shares it in Discord.

What to watch next

• Whether Tollan shares the official migration website in the official Tollan Universe Discord when the October 27, 2026, at 17:00 UTC window opens.
• Migrate Genesis Avatars and the Items collection before December 14, 2026, at 00:00 UTC through that website only.
• Unmigrated Abstract accounts follow the separate account-migration deadline of December 15, 2026, at 00:00 UTC.
• Genesis Avatar Holders Rewards docs have not yet been updated for this migration.

Bottom line: When the October 27, 2026, at 17:00 UTC window opens, migrate only through the website Tollan shares in the official Tollan Universe Discord. Move Genesis Avatars and Items through that website before December 14, 2026, at 00:00 UTC.
