Guild of Guardians
Platforms: mobile
Introduction
Guild of Guardians is a free-to-play roguelite squad-based mobile RPG developed by Mineloader (studio behind titles such as Final Fantasy, The Division 2, and The Last of Us Part I) and published by Immutable Games. It launched globally on 15 May 2024 on iOS and Android and has grown to over one million players. You play as a Commander leading a party of Guardians against a corrupting force called the Dread in the fantasy world of Elderym. The game runs on Immutable zkEVM (powered by Polygon) and uses Immutable Passport for passwordless sign-on and wallet creation. In-game assets can be owned as NFTs (“Radiant assets”) and traded; the $GOG token powers minting, the Altar of Sacrifice, marketplace transactions, staking, and future governance. Guild of Guardians is available on guildofguardians.com, Immutable Play, and on the App Store and Google Play.

Gameplay and features
Guild of Guardians combines roguelite dungeon crawling with strategic squad building. You assemble a team from over 200 unique Guardians across six classes: Warriors, Tanks, Assassins, Rangers, Mages, and Supports. Combat uses automatic attacks and manually-triggered special abilities; depth comes from Guardian positioning, gear crafting, and ability upgrades as characters level up. Progression includes merging resources, forging gear, and upgrading Guardians. Seasonal updates add new content: for example, Season 7: Stellar Revelations (February 2026) introduced the Rarity Upgrade System, allowing Epic Guardians to ascend to Legendary rarity via the Legendary Potion of Awakening, plus changes to the Growth Rate system. The game has partnered with major esports organizations (e.g. Cloud9, Fnatic, NAVI, Ninjas in Pyjamas, NRG, SK Gaming, T1, Team Liquid), with some represented as playable characters in-game. Competitive leaderboards and events offer NFT and token rewards; at launch the game featured a $1 million prize pool for competitive events.

Token and economy
The $GOG token is an ERC-20 token at the center of the Guild of Guardians ecosystem. It is used to:
- Mint gaming NFTs and unlock NFT tradeability
- Power the Altar of Sacrifice (web-based merging and minting)
- Pay for marketplace transactions
- Staking and loyalty rewards
- Governance voting (planned)
Players can earn $GOG through in-game activities and leaderboard rankings, or purchase it on exchanges such as OKX and Sushiswap. Token and economy details are available on the official GOG Tokens portal and commerce site. Returns are not guaranteed and depend on play, market conditions, and ecosystem design.

NFTs and assets
Guardians, Treasures, and other items can be minted as NFTs (“Radiant assets”) on Immutable zkEVM, giving true digital ownership and the ability to trade on the marketplace. The Altar of Sacrifice lets players merge NFTs to create more powerful items or mint new ones. NFT ownership is optional; the game is free-to-play and accessible with or without a wallet, with Immutable Passport streamlining onboarding. For current collections, marketplace links, and contract information, check the official Guild of Guardians and Immutable Play pages.
