Guild of Guardians Dungeons Early Access: Vanguard Server browser launch
Guild of Guardians opened Dungeons Early Access on the Vanguard Server on August 26, 2026. The idle loot RPG runs in the browser at dungeons.guildofguardians.com (opens in new tab) with Immutable Passport sign-in. Progress, currencies, and gear stay on the Vanguard Server. Early Access does not mint or burn GOG Dungeons NFTs.
If you want a hands-on look at the new loop before a wider release, you can play today. Treat what you earn as provisional until the studio publishes transfer rules for a later launch build.
Background
Guild of Guardians is a mobile action fantasy RPG from Guardians Guild Limited on Immutable zkEVM. The live mobile title centers on squads, seasons, and the GOG token. IMX covers gas on Immutable zkEVM for typical Passport and marketplace actions tied to the franchise.
Dungeons is a separate browser client: your Guardian fights automatically, collects Gear and resources, and grows Power while you manage loadout and progression between (or during) fights. The official Early Access guide (opens in new tab) frames the Vanguard Server as a fully playable Early Access build ahead of an official release, with systems still under tuning.
What happened
Browser Early Access on Vanguard
On August 26, 2026, the GOG Dungeons Team published the launch guide and confirmed Early Access is live. Coverage from EGamers (opens in new tab) and Crypto Games (opens in new tab) matches that date.
Play path from the guide:
- Open dungeons.guildofguardians.com (opens in new tab) in a browser (no download).
- Select Connect Passport and sign in or create an Immutable Passport.
- Create a Guardian and start combat.
Passport is required to save your Guardian and progress. It is also how Assist recognizes eligible Guild of Guardians NFT Guardians you already own.
Vanguard rules that differ from a full launch
The studio lists four Early Access constraints:
| Rule | Player consequence |
|---|---|
| Server-specific progress | Guardians, progress, currencies, and in-game assets stay on the server where you created them |
| No purchases | Paid buys are off; earn currencies through events and other in-game activities |
| NFT mint / burn blocked | Vanguard does not support minting or burning GOG Dungeons NFTs; gear and items earned here cannot convert into NFTs |
| Ongoing tuning | Features and balance can still change |
The guide does not say whether Vanguard progress will carry into a later global build. Plan grind and inventory as Early Access-only until that policy is published.
Classes, lands, and dungeons
Two classes are available at open:
| Class | Guardians named in the guide |
|---|---|
| Warrior | Myra, Dolvir |
| Mage | Lia, Ivar |
You push through overland regions where enemies scale as you advance, then enter dungeons once your Guardian is strong enough. Dungeon fights are harder than land encounters and end with a Boss. Power and preparation matter before you queue those runs.
Progression systems
The guide highlights three growth layers:
- Gear: eight equipment slots. Stronger drops raise Power for tougher regions and dungeons.
- Mastery: levels attributes and, at milestones, unlocks new Skills or raises Skills you already know.
- Engrave: upgrades a Gear slot’s attributes. Engrave progress stays on the slot when you swap the equipped piece, so slot investment is not wasted on a single drop.
Assist for existing GOG NFT Guardians
Assist lets eligible NFT Guardian assets from Guild of Guardians grant attribute bonuses to your in-game Guardian. There are 10 Assist slots, one eligible NFT each. Slots unlock as the Guardian levels; by level 100 all ten can be open. Passport sign-in is what ties those holdings into Assist recognition.
Secondary coverage stresses the same Assist idea for NFT holders. For Vanguard specifically, stick to the official limit: Assist can boost attributes, but Early Access still does not mint or convert Dungeons gear into NFTs.
Who it affects
Players on mobile GoG
You can try Dungeons without installing another client if you already use or can create Immutable Passport. Expect a more passive combat loop than the mobile squad RPG: idle fights, Gear chase, Mastery, Engrave, and Power-gated dungeons. Currencies on Vanguard come from play and events only; there is no paid shop path in Early Access.
Do not assume mobile season progress, wallets of soft currency, or inventory sync into Vanguard. The guide treats Guardians and assets as server-specific.
Collectors and NFT holders
If you hold eligible GOG Guardian NFTs, Assist is the Vanguard hook: slot them for attribute bonuses as you level. There is no GOG Guardian collection page in the Web3Raider catalog yet, so verify contracts and eligibility through official game and Passport flows before you buy for Assist alone.
Gear you farm on Vanguard cannot become NFTs under current Early Access rules. Do not price marketplace asks on the assumption that today’s drops will mint later unless the studio publishes a conversion path.

What to watch next
- Studio notices on whether Vanguard Guardians, currencies, or Assist setups transfer to a later release build
- Class, balance, and dungeon tuning while Early Access remains open
- Any future green light for GOG Dungeons NFT mint/burn or gear conversion (explicitly off on Vanguard today)
- Official channels: guildofguardians.com/news (opens in new tab) and Passport status on play.immutable.com (opens in new tab)
Bottom line: Create a Passport, pick a starter Guardian, and treat Vanguard Power and Gear as Early Access-only until Guardians Guild Limited publishes carry-over and NFT conversion rules. Use Assist for eligible holdings if you already own GOG Guardians; do not buy NFTs solely on the hope that Vanguard loot will mint.
