Terrariums Halloween 2026: Nightmare Flame boosts October 24 to November 7
Terrariums will run its first limited-time event from October 24 to November 7, 2026. Nightmare parts and bodies will add flat Atia's Flame, and three Nightmare accessories will get a stronger event bonus when they are equipped on a qualifying axie.
On October 16, 2026, Axie posted the full rules on The Lunacian (opens in new tab) and on X (opens in new tab).
This article follows our Terrariums V1.2 Estates update.
Background
Axie Infinity: Origins includes Terrariums, the land loop on Ronin. You assign axies to a plot's Atia Shrine. Those axies produce Atia's Flame, the score that sets your plot's share of that environment's hourly bAXS pool (Bonded AXS). Sky Mavis's Atia's Flame help article (opens in new tab) teaches that split: Shrine axies make Flame; Dojo axies earn AXP instead.
Higher Flame means a larger share of the same hourly pool. Halloween will add two extra terms to the Flame formula for the event window. The hourly pool size is the existing environment split.
Our July V1.1 update covered accessories, land items, and Fortune Slips. V1.2 added Estates that link adjacent plots and a stacked-evolution multiplier.

What happened
Event window
The Halloween 2026 event will run October 24 to November 7, 2026. Axie calls it Terrariums' first limited-time event. The posts give calendar days only.
On October 15, 2026, @AxieInfinity (opens in new tab) teased that Halloween details would land the next day.
Nightmare Axie Boost
During the window, qualifying parts and bodies will add a flat amount on top of an axie's existing Flame:
- Nightmare part: +200 Flame per part
- Shiny Nightmare part: +300 Flame per part
- Nightmare body: +200 Flame
Every qualifying part counts, and the bonuses stack.
The studio's blog example: a fully evolved axie with one Nightmare part, five normal parts, a normal body, and no accessories goes from 98.8 to 298.8 Flame (Base 40 + Evolved Part Boost 58.8 + Nightmare Axie Boost 200). That is about 202% more, or 3.02× its usual total. The bonus is a flat add, so the percentage depends on starting Flame.
Nightmare Accessory Boost
Three accessories qualify:
- Nightbloom: Ground
- Eyewyrm: Air
- Bloodmaw: Cheek
They will keep their usual Flame contribution and receive an additional event bonus. The axie wearing them sets the size of that bonus:
- No Nightmare parts or body: the extra bonus equals their usual accessory Flame
- At least one Nightmare part, Shiny Nightmare part, or Nightmare body: the extra bonus equals 3× their usual accessory Flame
Including the usual contribution, that is 4× those accessories' usual Flame during Halloween.
The studio's blog example: accessories that normally add 18 Flame add another 18 (total 36) on an axie with no Nightmare traits, or another 54 (total 72) on a qualifying axie.
Both boosts together
The two Halloween boosts will add to the existing total:
Base Atia's Flame + Evolved Part Boost + Accessory Boost + Nightmare Axie Boost + Nightmare Accessory Boost
The studio's blog example of a fully evolved Mystic with four Nightmare parts, one Shiny Nightmare part, and a Nightmare body, wearing Nightbloom, Eyewyrm, Bloodmaw, and Tristar:
| Component | Flame |
|---|---|
| Base Atia's Flame | 1,000 |
| Evolved Part Boost | 728 |
| Accessory Boost | 22.5 |
| Nightmare Axie Boost | 1,300 |
| Nightmare Accessory Boost | 54 |
| Total during Halloween | 3,104.5, up from 1,750.5 (about 77% more) |
Tristar feeds the usual Accessory Boost. The three Nightmare accessories feed the Nightmare Accessory Boost.
Hosted plots and rotating boosts
The October 13 Lunacian Lounge, recapped on The Lunacian (opens in new tab), said Nightmare axies would earn more Flame for Halloween. If that boost works, the team may rotate boosts between Axie types. Hosted Land Plots and a Level 120 cap were presented as explorations. The studio said nothing there is final.
Who it affects
Players
If you already run Nightmare parts, Shiny Nightmare parts, or a Nightmare body at the Shrine, the event will add a flat Flame bump on those pieces from October 24 to November 7. Pair Nightbloom, Eyewyrm, or Bloodmaw with a qualifying axie if you want the stronger accessory bonus.
If your Shrine lineup has no Nightmare traits, the three accessories will still double their usual accessory Flame for the event. They will not get the 4× total unless the axie qualifies.
Collectors
Nightmare parts, Shiny Nightmare parts, Nightmare bodies, and the three accessories are inventory you can already hold. Check which of your axies already qualify, and which of Nightbloom, Eyewyrm, and Bloodmaw you already have, before October 24.

What to watch next
- Before October 24, check Nightmare parts, Shiny Nightmare parts, and bodies, and decide which axies wear Nightbloom, Eyewyrm, and Bloodmaw
- From October 24 to November 7, compare Shrine Flame totals with the Nightmare Axie and Nightmare Accessory bonuses included
- After November 7, those two extra boosts end unless the studio posts a follow-up
- Hosted Land Plots and a Level 120 cap are explorations until a dated ship
Bottom line: Set the Shrine lineup before October 24. Decide which axies carry Nightmare parts or a Nightmare body, and which of them wear Nightbloom, Eyewyrm, or Bloodmaw.
