Axie Terrariums V1.2 Update: Estates and 2.8× Flame multipliers Aug 19

On August 11, 2026, Sky Mavis announced Terrariums V1.2 for August 19, 2026 at 3PM PHT (07:00 UTC). The Lunacian post (opens in new tab) will add Estates that link adjacent Land plots for extra Atia's Flame, plus stronger rewards when you stack collectible evolutions on one Axie, including an Evolved Part Count Multiplier up to 2.8× at six evolved parts. Land holders who already chase hourly bAXS should map which plots can cluster and where evolutions will stack before that window opens.

Background

Terrariums is Axie Infinity's land mining loop on Ronin. You station Axies on a plot, the plot builds Atia's Flame, and each land category pays a fixed hourly pool of bonded AXS (bAXS) split by Flame share. V1 opened shrine mining. Terrariums V1.1 went live July 22, 2026 and pulled evolved parts, accessories, land items, and Fortune Slips into the Flame formula.

This article follows that July piece with the V1.2 estate and multi-part evolution schedule. Axie Infinity: Origins is the catalog TCG entry point; Terrariums land activity runs on the broader Axie stack on Ronin, where RON covers gas and AXS governs protocol stakes.

V1.2 does not add a new item slot. It rewards how holdings sit together: multiple collectible parts on one Axie, and adjacent Land plots under one Estate.

What happened

Per the Terrariums V1.2 announcement (opens in new tab) on August 11, 2026, Sky Mavis will ship two Flame systems on August 19.

Multi-collectible parts and evolution multipliers

  • Collectible evolved parts will grant more Atia's Flame than under the prior V1.1 weighting.
  • Stacking evolutions on the same collectible Axie raises an Evolved Part Count Multiplier.
  • That multiplier scales with how many parts you evolve on that Axie, up to 2.8× for six evolved parts.
  • Studio guidance: concentrate evolutions on one collectible Axie rather than spreading one evolution across many Axies if you want the higher multipliers.

Exact per-part Flame tables beyond the 2.8× cap were not published in the announcement. Check in-client values after go-live.

Terrariums Estates

An Estate is a group of Land plots that meet all three rules:

  1. Same Land Environment
  2. Activated under the same Terrariums account
  3. Directly adjacent horizontally or vertically (diagonals do not count)

More connected plots raise the potential Estate Boost. The boost applies to one plot in the Estate at a time. You do not pick it manually. Terrariums will assign it to whichever Estate plot currently has the highest Atia's Flame. If another plot takes the lead, the boost moves on the next tick.

Sky Mavis covered design intent in the August 11 Lunacian Lounge the same day as the post. After V1.2 ships, the studio says focus will shift to more activity inside Terrariums and more paths for Lunacians who do not own Land.

Who it affects

Players

If you already run shrines, map which plots share an environment and share edges before August 19. Scattered Savannah or Forest plots in the same wallet do not form an Estate until they sit N/S/E/W of each other under the same account. After go-live, raise Flame on the plot you want powered. The Estate Boost follows the current Flame leader, so your V1.1 loadout (Axies, accessories, land items, Fortune Slips) still decides where the adjacency buff lands.

Evolution planning also changes. Six evolved collectible parts on one Axie will unlock the top published multiplier; spreading the same six evolutions across six Axies forgoes that stack. Treat shrine assignment and evolution spend as one optimization, not two separate hobbies.

Collectors

Adjacent Land of one environment will feed a shared Estate Boost path once V1.2 is live. Collectible Axies with room for multiple evolved parts gain clearer Terrariums utility when the 2.8× path ships. Secondary market moves for Land and collectible Axies still settle on Ronin marketplaces such as OpenSea. Check environment, adjacency, and live Flame rules before paying a premium for Estate-ready clusters. Treat the Estate Boost size as an in-client value after August 19 until Sky Mavis publishes a fixed percentage.

What to watch next

  • August 19, 2026, 3PM PHT: confirm V1.2 live and read in-client Flame and Estate Boost values
  • Estate map check: environment match, orthogonal adjacency, same Terrariums account before you buy or rearrange Land
  • Evolution concentration: whether chasing six evolved parts on one collectible Axie beats spreading evolutions across shrine teams
  • Studio follow-ups on non-Land Terrariums activity after V1.2 (Axie Infinity blog (opens in new tab), Axie on X (opens in new tab))

Bottom line: Before August 19, sketch which plots can form an Estate under the three adjacency rules, and decide whether your next evolutions stack on one collectible Axie for the 2.8× path. After the go-live tick, recheck Flame and Estate Boost numbers in-client before you rearrange Land or burn more evolutions.
