Ronin Waypoint Grace Period: Axie badges and bAXS portal until October 31

On October 31, 2026, at 15:00 UTC, Ronin Waypoint's Grace Period will end and Waypoint will be fully sunset. On October 16, 2026, Ronin (opens in new tab) posted that the migration had entered that Grace Period. The same day, Axie Infinity (opens in new tab) posted that if you still hold badges or bAXS in a Waypoint wallet, the Axie migration portal (opens in new tab) will stay open until the Grace Period ends.

This article follows our Ronin Waypoint sunset article.

Background

Ronin asked players who used Waypoint, keyless wallets, or social login to move assets to Ronin Stash or a Ronin Wallet seedphrase. Waypoint was the social-login / keyless path so players could join without a seed phrase. A seedphrase Ronin Wallet is the self-custody login: you hold the keys. RON is the gas token on Ronin.

Web3Raider covered the September 30 Stash deadline and the later October 16 cutoff. Those windows targeted transferable NFTs and tokens still sitting on Waypoint. Sky Mavis ships Ronin wallet products on this chain.

Separately, Axie Infinity: Origins opened a first-party tool to move activity badges and bAXS off a Waypoint wallet onto a linked seed-phrase wallet. That tool is the waypoint-migration page (opens in new tab). Our July badges and bAXS article covered the original September 16 date.

bAXS is Bonded AXS, the non-transferable AXS-backed balance Axie uses for several in-game spends. It is not a separate token ticker. Badges are account history marks, not a new mint you can buy back on a marketplace if the Waypoint copy is gone.

What happened

Ronin Grace Period until October 31, 15:00 UTC

Initially, Ronin had set October 16 as the close for Waypoint, keyless wallets, and social login. On October 16, 2026, @Ronin_Network (opens in new tab) posted that the migration was entering its final stage, the Grace Period. That window will run until October 31, 2026, 15:00 UTC. After that clock, Ronin said Waypoint will be fully sunset and the migration complete.

The Grace Period is time to resolve outstanding issues raised via X, Discord, or Ticket. If you already reported a migration problem, or you hit one, file a report on the Ronin support ticket form (opens in new tab) and include a wallet address plus a screenshot or a transaction hash or failure message.

If you use a seedphrase wallet, a hardware wallet, or both, Ronin said no action is needed on this Grace Period note. Issues about in-game progression and soulbound assets for games on Ronin go to that game's team.

The Ronin migrating page (opens in new tab) is the migration link Ronin posted.

Axie badges and bAXS portal open until the Grace Period ends

The same day, @AxieInfinity (opens in new tab) posted that the Grace Period is for resolving known migration issues, and that if you still have badges or bAXS in a Waypoint wallet, you still have time to use the migration portal (opens in new tab). Axie said that portal will stay open until the Grace Period ends.

The live page tells you to move activity badges and bAXS from a Waypoint wallet to a linked seed-phrase wallet, and that this can only happen once.

Axie posted the same portal line in the official Axie Discord (opens in new tab).

Use only those first-party pages. Skip DMs, unofficial migration helper sites, and anyone asking you to paste a seedphrase.

Who it affects

Players

If you still hold badges or bAXS on a Waypoint login, use the Axie migration portal before October 31, 2026, 15:00 UTC. Move them once to the linked seed-phrase wallet the page names, and keep RON ready if a signature needs gas.

If you already filed a Ronin migration issue, make sure a ticket exists on the support form, with a wallet address and a screenshot or a transaction hash or failure message.

If you only use a seedphrase or hardware Ronin Wallet and never parked badges or bAXS on Waypoint, Ronin said you do not need to act on this Grace Period note.

If the problem is in-game progress or a soulbound asset inside a Ronin title, Ronin said to contact that game's team.

Collectors

Badges and bAXS sitting on Waypoint are profile and spend inventory, not a drop you can replace with a marketplace buy. Finish the one-time move to the linked seed-phrase wallet before October 31, 2026, 15:00 UTC if those balances still sit on Waypoint. After that clock, Ronin said Waypoint will be fully sunset and the migration complete.

Ronin says the Grace Period is time to resolve reported issues. Axie named badges and bAXS on the first-party portal. Use the ticket form for a failed Ronin migrate, and the Axie page for Waypoint-held badges or bAXS.

What to watch next

• Finish any badges or bAXS still on Waypoint through the Axie portal (opens in new tab) before October 31, 2026, 15:00 UTC
• If a Ronin migration already failed, file or update a Ronin ticket (opens in new tab)
• After that clock, Ronin said Waypoint will be fully sunset and the migration complete

Bottom line: Open the Axie portal while you still have a Waypoint login, complete the one-time badge and bAXS move to the linked seed-phrase wallet, and file a Ronin ticket only if a migration already failed. The clock is October 31, 2026, 15:00 UTC.
