Critters Quest: Lucky Pick closes October 24

On October 24, 2026, at 23:00 UTC, Critters Quest will close Lucky Pick, its QUEST mining game, when the Immortals event ends. After the close, leftover jackpot SOL and the in-game QUEST spend share that refills the emission vault will go to stakers and Master Edition holders, per the studio.

Background

Critters Quest is Paradice Tech's browser 4X on Solana. You run a town and spend QUEST on fees and rewards in the game's economy, at game.critters.quest (opens in new tab).

Lucky Pick is the mining game at mine.critters.quest (opens in new tab). You deploy SOL on a 25-square board each round and win emissions as unrefined QUEST.

Master Edition Critters on Solana mint Clone Editions.

On August 25, 2026, @crittersquest (opens in new tab) opened a 60-day QUEST commit window toward the Immortals sale, set to close on October 24, 2026, at 23:00 UTC. A follow-on post in that thread described a future Critters Quest game and a future Lucky Pick on EVM (Ethereum-compatible networks), with Immortals in a master role each round.

What happened

Lucky Pick closes October 24

On October 19, 2026, Paradice posted in the official Critters Quest Discord (opens in new tab) that Lucky Pick will close on October 24, 2026, at 23:00 UTC, when the Immortals event ends. @crittersquest (opens in new tab) posted the same announcement of the close that day.

The studio said Lucky Pick has not performed the way it wanted, and that constant emissions have been putting pressure on the price.

Emission vault and leftover jackpot SOL

The studio says that after the close, whatever is left in the emission vault, roughly 243 million QUEST, will be burned. Leftover jackpot SOL will go 80% to stakers and 20% to Master Edition holders ("Master Edition holders (BPS)" in the Discord wording). BPS is the Master Edition share weight. The studio has not published the emission vault address or a burn transaction.

In-game QUEST spend share after the close

The studio said 20% of every QUEST spent in game refills the Lucky Pick emission vault. After the close, that share will go 15% to stakers and 5% to Master Edition BPS, and town fees and other in-game QUEST spends will no longer refill Lucky Pick.

Immortals on EVM, targeted for Q1 2027

In that same October 19 announcement, the studio said it is targeting Q1 2027 for the Immortals launch on EVM, with Robinhood Chain as the likely platform. Immortals are the planned EVM generation of Critters: 10,500, each meant to work like a Master Edition that can clone on EVM. The official Immortals page (opens in new tab) says a mint is not guaranteed, and that the sale can move to a different EVM platform if that platform proves the better home.

Who it affects

Lucky Pick miners

After the close, you will not earn QUEST emissions from Lucky Pick, per the studio.

Stakers

After the close, stakers get 80% of leftover jackpot SOL and 15% of the in-game QUEST spend share that refills the vault, per the studio. No payout time was published for that leftover jackpot SOL.

Master Edition holders

After the close, Master Edition holders get 20% of leftover jackpot SOL and 5% of that in-game spend share, as Master Edition BPS, per the studio. Clone Editions do not get this leftover jackpot SOL or spend-share split.
