Might and Magic: Fates' Blood Moon through November 1 with first Event System
Blood Moon, the Halloween event for Might and Magic: Fates, runs from October 21, 2026 to November 1, 2026. It is the game's first in-game event, and it introduces a new Event System. The Steam post describes that system as a mini Battle Pass. Daily quests grant Event XP. Progress unlocks rewards on a Free Pass and on an Event Pass that costs 800 Diamonds.
Background
Might and Magic: Fates is Ubisoft's free-to-play hero TCG (Steam lists the product as Might and Magic The Card Game). You build faction decks and climb ranked ladders. Mobile launched worldwide on February 4, 2026. Steam Early Access followed on February 16, 2026.
On October 16, 2026, the team letter (opens in new tab) said regular limited-time live events would start with a first Halloween event the week after that post, with special quests and extra rewards. That letter did not name a calendar day. Blood Moon is that event, with a named window. Blood Moon's November 1 end date is separate from the letter's November 2 Card Rotation end. The Card Rotation ends November 2 update covers that letter.
What happened
X preview named the end day (October 20)
On October 20, 2026, @MightMagicFates (opens in new tab) previewed Blood Moon and said the event ends on November 1. An image in that post says UNTIL NOVEMBER 1ST. Ubisoft's October 21 post does not name November 1.
Blood Moon has begun (October 21)
On October 21, 2026, Ubisoft posted (opens in new tab) BLOOD MOON - Halloween Event. The post calls Blood Moon the game's first-ever in-game event and introduces the Event System.
Event System, Pass, and Crystals
You earn Event XP by completing daily quests and unlock rewards as you progress.
The October 21 post says Pass rewards grant Crystals, a Legendary Card, and exclusive Halloween cosmetics. The Event Pass costs 800 Diamonds in the client and sits alongside a Free Pass.
The official shop (opens in new tab) sells Diamonds and bundles. It does not sell this Event Pass.
The studio did not name the Legendary Card, the cosmetics, how many Pass levels there are, the Crystal cost per Halloween Pack, or leaderboard reward tiers. No start or end time of day was published.
Halloween Packs and Limited Anastasya
Crystals open Halloween Packs. Those packs grant additional Event XP, so quests and packs both advance the Pass. The October 20 preview used event currency, event card packs, and points.
Ubisoft's October 21 post states you have a 1% chance to obtain Limited Anastasya from each Halloween Pack. The card is guaranteed within 100 Halloween Packs, like the game's regular Limited Card drops. Cards from Halloween Packs join your collection like cards from regular packs.
Event Leaderboard
The Event Leaderboard ranks players by Event XP earned from daily quests and Halloween Packs.
Ubisoft says you unlock it by completing at least one Ranked match after the event begins, whether you win or lose. Event XP you earn before that match is credited once the match is completed.
Who it affects
Ranked and Event XP players
If you want to appear on the leaderboard, play at least one Ranked match after the event begins, whether you win or lose. The window runs through November 1, 2026.
Pass and currency
The Free Pass does not cost Diamonds. The Event Pass costs 800 Diamonds in the client. You spend Crystals from Pass rewards to open Halloween Packs.
